i'm going to Lizzy's today for a week, and i'm all packed. i have limited clothing and shoes (i'm bringing 2 pairs), but almost all my jewelry. so i'm going to challenge myself to come up with a cool coordinate every day for a week. and for the sake of speed and convenience, i'm using crappy webcam pics. sorry the color is way messed up. =D (unless there is a loli outfit that i want to post on daily_lolita but i'll post them later.) so, outfit #1! GO!

ive been looking at Strapya and i realized i could easily spend $100+ there. i want like one of everything! >_>' but i think i'll just keep the links of things i want and i'll do my Christmas shopping there, since there are tons of things i want to get as gifts for some people... plus get a few presents for myself. X3

i have 2 boxes that i want to decorate. i already have some things that i can use. i sometimes wonder, do other people like to use novelty buttons, or is it just me? =D

i want to make phone charms to sell.

i want more figurines, too, but i really can't show them off. they would be great if i had a cubicle job or something, maybe.

the kitten started meowing. we thought he was in the couch. so we kept trying to get him out of the couch but we couldn't even figure out how he got in. but he was between the wooden and screen doors right next to the couch. he ended up running in while mom checked the mail. XD

i know you all already know. so this is for my own records. Michael Jackson has passed. there's a lot of sadness in the home. the coping mechanism of choice is denial. he's sort of an icon in our house. and of course he's the reason i'm the only teen in my city that i know of who can moonwalk. and my brother is the only kid in town who can do the Thriller dance. RIP.

also Farah Fawcett. RIP.

i just discovered crappy_lovley and fairy-kei and now i'm having an identity crisis. what?! you mean i can actually wear those 80s clothes i like?! WITH LOLITA?! it made me so excited i bought some adorkable new socks. i kind of want shutter glasses even though they're totally pointless. i probably won't get any... but i will probably get some big sunglasses that i can use for Mello cosplay. eventually. and i want some Pastry shoes. =_='

my mom saw the "lolita" episode of Bones while we were at my grandparents' house and she told me about it a little bit. she recorded it so i could watch it. =3 and she thought it was funny that she didn't really see much lolita in it (neither did i) and i think she was actually more displeased with the stereotypes on behalf of me than i was. XD but i kind of enjoyed it. so i had to log on and look at EGL and look at the discussion. looks like most people were just kind of humored by it and not as annoyed as i thought they would be.

i'm basically done with everything for ACen and now my next two weeks shall be spent on my AP Art portfolio. w00t. see you at ACen.<3

my computer suddenly got attacked by viruses, spyware, adware, and trojans a couple days ago, and now my internet doesn't work. i just so happen to have a ton of study hall time that i can spend in the library on the computer and leech off of the school's internet. right now i'm on my mom's computer. so i might not have much to say for a little while until i can fix my internet, although i will sometimes manage to check up on things whilst in the library. that librarian is like a hawk.

our service has been malfunctioning recently... but mom called the company and got it fixed today. hopefully it stays fixed. anyway, i got my compression vest ordered today, whoo-hoo! i'm excited to get it. XD

i've decided i'm going to get my haircut soon. i was going to wait to get it cut very short until May, but i decided to do it in time for Uchi-Con. i can't wait to have short hair again. XD

the shirts are $10 at Wal-Mart in the women's section! i got the black & white and the red & white. i'm too happy to find them for cheap. all you cosplayers who already have the white shirt, consider getting the red one just to take advantage of the deal. haha! i think it's quite snazzy-looking.

i very much dislike this kind of snow. it gets all nasty and slushy very quickly. but i also don't like plodding through deep snow, or stomping on snow that's all densely packed together... basically, if i have to be in it, snow is just not good. i worked on holiday presents today, and i've finished some sewing this weekend, but i don't have pictures yet. i didn't get any anime watched... i found out that the mysterious dish that i had in Japan was, in fact, omelet rice (thanks, Mel), and i found a few different recipes for it. i'm going to try it soon. right now i'm playing around with Audacity. ^_^

i posted pretty much this a while ago, but right now i'm going to be doing an inked piece for the cost of just a pencil sketch! much nicer, hm?

i'm just starting with this, so please keep in mind that i may expand this within the next few months, in case you want one colored. also, if you get an inked piece now, you can get it colored later and just make up the cost.

PG-13 rating max, please. ^_^' if there's something you want but you're not sure if it's within this rating, please just ask.

Project Title: fuzzy earmuffs
Short Project Description: earmuffs made with lavender minky fabric, with a white faux-fur band and lavender fleece lining. i'm considering matching mittens. not particularly lolita, but inspired by stuff from BtSSB.
Projected Deadline: i'm gonna say next weekend, excluding the mittens.
Pattern(s) Used: just a circle pattern.
Materials needed: i have everything already.
Challenges or obstacles: maybe shaping so that the round inside panel is set in slightly from the rest of the pad. i think i will have to gather a bit, which i didn't anticipate while making the pattern, but it shouldn't be a big deal.
Progress: the band is finished. 50%
Problems encountered that halted progress: none so far.
Ways considered to solve the problem: N/A
